November 20, 2008Northrop Grumman is to lead Boeing and Lockheed Martin in studying energy-optimized aircraft with integrated hybrid-electric system architectures under the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory’s (AFRL) Integrated Vehicle Energy Technology (INVENT) program.
